Corlune is a minimalist Android launcher that swaps your home screen for almost nothing: your wallpaper, a clock, and one search bar that opens apps, flips settings and answers questions before you finish asking. The phone on this page runs a copy of it. Start typing.
yt, spot, torch or 100 usd to eurThe apps you stop opening
Half of what you open an app for is one quick answer. Corlune gives it to you in the search bar, so you never leave the home screen. Every row works in the phone above; tap one to watch it.
A home screen that does nothing
No app grid on the home screen, no dock, no badges. Your wallpaper, a clock and widgets from any app, on as many pages as you like. The search bar stays out of sight until you reach for it.
Every gesture is yours to assign. These are the defaults; set any of them to a different action in Settings.
Recorded in Corlune on an Android emulator.
Two screens, two homes
On a foldable or a flip, the cover screen and the inner screen are arranged separately, each with its own widgets, pages and grid. Fold it, unfold it, and each one is where you left it.
Questions, answered
- Is Corlune Raycast for Android?
- It's built in the same spirit: one search bar that opens apps, runs commands and answers questions as you type. Raycast has no Android app, and Spotlight is Apple-only. Corlune is an independent project, not affiliated with Raycast.
- What makes it a minimalist launcher?
- Your home screen holds only your wallpaper, a clock and the widgets you add. There's no app grid, dock or badges. Every app is a few letters away in search, and a double-tap opens an A–Z app drawer.
- What can I type into the search bar?
- App names (typos are fine), short aliases like yt for YouTube, and settings like Wi-Fi or Do Not Disturb. It also answers math, percentages, unit and currency conversions, time zones, date math, colors and number bases.
- Does it work with widgets and foldables?
- Yes. Add widgets from any app, resize them on a grid and spread them across pages. On foldables and flip phones, the cover screen and the inner screen each keep their own layout.
- Is it private?
- There's no account, analytics or ads. What Corlune learns stays in one file on your phone. Its only network request is for currency rates, made when you ask for a conversion.
- How do I get it?
- Corlune is free. Version 0.2 is an early build for Android 10 and up, and it isn't on the Google Play Store yet.
